  • An independent regulatory commission found the charges, which alleged he attempted to receive a red card to influence betting markets, not proven.
  • Paqueta had consistently denied the accusations since the investigation began in May 2024, with West Ham United supporting him throughout.
  • However, the FA confirmed that two separate charges against Paqueta, relating to his failure to co-operate with the investigation, have been proven.
  • A commission will now decide the appropriate sanction for Paqueta concerning these two proven charges.
