Preston boss Ryan Lowe has explained holding back Calvin Ramsay.
The on-loan Liverpool fullback sat out yesterday's 1-1 draw with Bristol City.
Lowe said: "Calvin is now getting up to speed. He's fit now, just not really match fit.
"He hasn't had a 90 minutes, only two 30s and a 15. He is not far off but we will probably look to get him a lot of minutes in the Salford game next Tuesday.
"I think he will potentially start in that, which will be good for him if we can get him 60, 70 or 80 minutes in that."
