Honda Malaysia has previewed the Honda e:N1, an electric variant of its well-liked HR-V, at the KL International Motor Show 2024 (KLIMS 2024).
Confirmed to launch in 2025, the model offers a 500 km range (NEDC) or 412 km (WLTP), powered by a 68.6 kWh battery and a 204 PS/310 Nm front motor, which enables a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.7 seconds.
The e:N1 supports 78 kW DC fast charging and 11 kW AC charging. At 1,662 kg, it is heavier than the hybrid HR-V e:HEV RS variant, which weighs 1,393 kg.
The car features a closed-off grille with an integrated charging port, as well as 18-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish and 225/50R18 tyres. This specific display unit's VIN indicates that the vehicle was imported from Thailand plant, implying that units headed for Malaysia the following year will also originate there.
The e:N1's specifications and debut date are still pending, but as previously said, Honda Malaysia confirmed that the EV SUV is scheduled to arrive in our market in 2025.
