Former Everton youngster Isaac Price says he has no regrets about departing in the summer.

Price left as a free agent during the transfer window, despite having been with the Toffees since 2010.

Price has played nine of Standard Liege's ten league games so far this season, vindicating his choice to move for regular football.

Speaking during the international break, the youngster told BBC Sport: "I feel like I was edging towards a move at the end as I wasn't getting much of a first-team opportunity at Everton, so I feel like it was the right move.

"I'm getting even more of an opportunity here [with Northern Ireland] and getting to play in front of the fans here is just as good as it is at my club. I love coming here, there's that familiarity with the people and the players I've been with before.

"It's good. It's a lot different to what it was in England. I'm having to get used to living on my own and making my own food. The football is great. It is a lot different to England in terms of how they play and stuff but I feel like I have adapted to."
