Prime Minister cancels Pahang visit due to back pain

PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has cancelled his scheduled working visit to Pahang today due to back pain.

PMO in a statement said the last-minute cancellation was made on the advice of the medical team after he suffered from back pain, which has limited his movements.

"On the advice of doctors, the prime minister has been advised to get adequate rest.

"The prime minister sincerely apologises, especially to the people of Pahang who have prepared to welcome him," read the statement. - November 2, 2025
