THE principal suspect in the case involving the discovery of Suri Narudin’s body, found in a bag buried behind a house in Kampung Batu 4, Pedas on 18 December, is scheduled to be charged at the Tampin Magistrate’s Court this Friday.

Datuk Alzafny Ahmad, Chief of Police for Negeri Sembilan, confirmed that the 51-year-old man will face charges under Section 302 of the Penal Code for allegedly causing the death of the victim.

“Another individual, a 41-year-old man who was previously detained, will serve as a prosecution witness,” he stated.

Datuk Alzafny advised the public to refrain from speculation that could compromise the legal process and urged full cooperation with the authorities.

Earlier reports indicated that the body discovered in the bag behind the house was believed to belong to a woman reported missing in Ampang, Selangor, on 8 December. Following investigations, police detained two men, aged 51 and 41, to assist in the inquiry.

The victim was subsequently identified as 53-year-old Suri Narudin through fingerprint comparison with records from the National Registration Department. - December 25, 2025
