  • The Charity Commission has cleared Prince Harry of "over-reach" at Sentebale, the charity he co-founded, following a four-month investigation.
  • Harry quit as patron of the charity, alongside Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, in March, saying the move was in support of the trustees – who also resigned – in a dispute with chairwoman Sophie Chandauka.
  • The watchdog has now condemned "all parties" for allowing the "damaging" boardroom dispute to play out publicly, harming the charity's reputation.
  • It found "mismanagement" due to a lack of clarity in role descriptions, poorly defined delegations, and inadequate internal complaint processes. It founsented no evidence of widespread bullying, misogyny, or racism.
  • The commission issued a regulatory action plan for Sentebale, while Prince Harry's spokesperson criticised the report and said he would seek new ways to support children in Lesotho and Botswana.
