PRN Johor: BN dominates military vote, secures landslide in Mahkota (unofficial)

BARISAN Nasional (BN) dominated the military vote in the Johor state election, recording a commanding performance across military polling streams, including a landslide victory in the Mahkota state constituency.

Following the completion of early vote counting, BN secured 3,465 military votes, far ahead of Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) 302 votes, while Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) garnered 64 votes.

“BN won convincingly across all military polling streams,” Umno secretary-general Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki told reporters at the coalition’s main operations centre for the Johor polls.

Mahkota and Johor Jaya were among the constituencies that recorded a high concentration of military votes, giving BN a significant early advantage as unofficial results continued to come in.

The results remain unofficial and are subject to confirmation by the Election Commission. – July 11, 2026
