
KENINGAU: Five students majoring in Electrical Technology from Keningau Vocational College presented their innovation project at the International Ankara Multidisciplinary Studies Congress held from Jan 27-29 in Ankara, Turkiye.

The team consist Denver Eldie, Javier Junior Joseph, Awang Faiezul Asnan, Hernandez Stanley and Zurainnizah Omar, said the College Head of Research and Innovation, Dr Sirhajwan Idek.
He said they have created a water filter machine that can reduce water consumption in the home and help flood victims get a clean water supply.
“This innovation is able to purify the water that has been used in the house for the activities of washing clothes, washing dishes and bathing so that it can be reused for the same purpose,” he said.
The College Director, Christine Stanislaus Kinsik, praised the efforts of these students who use their expertise in the field of electrical technology to produce innovations that can have a positive impact on society.
She thinks young people need to be proactive in finding solutions for the issues experienced by the local community.
