Tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters marched on the streets of London on Saturday, 28 October, calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
Demonstrators gathered with banners and posters, letting off red and green flares and chanting "free Palestine" as other rallies took place in Manchester and Glasgow.
The protests came as the Israeli military told civilians in northern Gaza that their "window to act is closing" and called for them to "move south for their own safety" ahead of an expected ground invasion.
