The Proton e.MAS 7 goes on tour in the country so go check it out
PRO-NET, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Proton, is leading the charge into Malaysia’s EV future with the launch of the Proton e.MAS Nationwide Roadshow which kicks off today at The Exchange TRX, running from 22 to 25 May 2025. This marks the debut of the Electrify Your Life campaign, an initiative aimed at introducing Malaysians to the EV lifestyle.
At the center of the roadshow is the Proton e.MAS 7, Malaysia’s first national EV. The roadshow offers a hands-on, lifestyle-focused experience, showcasing how the e.MAS 7 fits into everyday Malaysian life. From interactive test drives and lifestyle zones to talks by automotive influencers and exciting giveaways, the event is designed to both inform and inspire.
Moreover, Pn. Salawati Binti Mohd Yusoff, Chief Branding Officer of PRO-NET, stated, “This isn’t just a product launch—it’s a lifestyle movement. We’re showing how the e.MAS 7 can enhance daily routines, weekend getaways, and personal expression.” CEO Zhang Qiang added, “Our goal is to make EV technology relatable and accessible across Malaysia, encouraging a shift to cleaner, more sustainable transport.”
The TRX roadshow features test drive opportunities where visitors can experience the e.MAS 7’s instant torque, smooth handling, and advanced connectivity. Visitors can explore themed lifestyle zones such as Electrify Your Drive, focusing on EV charging and energy efficiency; Electrify Your Fun, which includes a mini RC track and Electrify Your Adventure, highlighting the car’s road trip readiness.
On top of that, the Electrify Your Style offers a visually striking space for photo ops and futuristic design inspiration. Daily KOL Sharing Sessions add further value, with EV experts like Amin Ashaari (CEO, SoyaCincau) sharing practical tips and personal insights on EV ownership. These talks take place at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM on 24 and 25 May.
Following Kuala Lumpur, the roadshow will tour key cities:
- Gurney Paragon, Penang: 13–15 June
- AEON Mall Bandaraya, Melaka: 27–29 June
- Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru: 3–6 July
- Central i-City, Shah Alam: 21–24 August (Finale)
Adding excitement, PRO-NET’s Electrify Your Life Contest invites Malaysians to win monthly prizes and a grand prize,a brand-new Proton e.MAS 5. The contest runs from May to July 2025, with the winner announced on 24 August at Central i-City.
