After a long hiatus, the Proton brand is making a comeback in Singapore through its new energy division, Proton e.MAS, with the launch of the Proton e.MAS 7, in partnership with newly appointed distributor, Vincar Group.
This partnership was announced during the e.MAS 7 launch on Dec 16, where Vincar Group will spearhead Proton’s renewed presence in the island state with the e.MAS 7 which is set to debut in early 2025.

Both variants of the e.MAS 7, will be offered in Singapore to take on rivaling makes like the BYD Atto 3 which has been a popular budget choice amongst environmentally conscious drivers in Singapore.

Vincar Group plans to establish a Proton e.MAS flagship showroom at the Leng Kee Automotive Belt, offering not only the e.MAS 7 but also a broader lineup of future models. Alongside retail operations, Vincar Group will also oversee the Proton e.MAS after-sales services, ensuring warranty coverage and customer support.
Vincar Group which over the years has built a name for itself as distributor of Aion range of EVs in Singapore as well as in the used and grey import vehicle is well-positioned to guide Proton e.MAS re-entry into Singapore's competitive EV market.
