PAPAR: A Proton Wira was destroyed in a fire at Kampung Laut, Kinarut, on Sunday evening.
The Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 7.03pm and dispatched a team from Papar Fire Station.
Nine firefighters arrived at the scene, 18 kilometres away, at 7.24pm.

No casualties were reported, and the operation concluded safely at 7.40pm.
