PSG chiefs accept they will struggle to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Kane's agents met with PSG sports chief Luis Campos this week to discuss the prospect of moving to Paris.
However, PSG face the need to slash their wage budget, says the London Evening Standard, which makes any deal for Kane unlikely.
PSG was fined by UEFA for Financial Fair Play breaches in September.
Lionel Messi will be allowed to come off contract, while Neymar could also be sold.
However, even with those changes, PSG may still battle to fit Kane under their wage ceiling.
