The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has enabled the deduction of employees’ salary for PTPTN loan repayments to now be done online via the Portal Majikan Online platform. Previously, this process had to be performed manually.

Aside from that, PTPTN also said that the online service that was enabled on the portal can also be used to increase employees’ savings in the National Education Savings Scheme (Simpan SSPN). “The online service provides a convenient platform for employers with a simpler data verification and review process, with the whole salary deduction process done digitally,” PTPTN shared in a statement.

Meanwhile, chief executive officer of PTPTN, Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid noted that Portal Majikan Online is an important component in the corporation’s digitalisation agenda to offer more efficient and effective services. “With the portal, employers can make their employees’ salary deduction transactions at any time easily, efficiently, and safely,” he further said.

Ahmad Dasuki also urged Malaysians to take advantage of the ongoing 15% discount incentive that is provided for PTPTN loan repayments made via salary deduction, as well as scheduled direct debits. This deal – which is provided under Budget 2024 and is set to run until 31 March 2024 – also allows 10% discount for the full lump-sum payment, or lump-sum payment of at least 50%, of your outstanding loan.
