KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 — The public can pay their last respects to Malaysia’s fifth premier Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who passed away yesterday, until 1pm at Masjid Negara.

Abdullah’s son-in-law Khairy Jamaluddin said the public’s time to pay their last respects was brought forward to 10am from the original 11am since all the funeral arrangements had been completed.

The funeral prayer will be performed after the Zuhur prayer followed by the funeral prayer before the burial at the Heroes’ Mausoleum,” he told the press at Masjid Negara’s compound.

Abdullah died at the National Heart Institute at 7.10pm yesterday at the age of 85.
