MANILA, Philippines — Public confidence in the Philippine Air Force (PAF) remains strong, according to the latest nationwide survey of OCTA Research released on Monday, January 26.

The Q4 2025 Mass Survey Response found that 76 percent of Filipinos expressed confidence in the PAF, while 74 percent approved of its goals and aspirations.

The survey, part of OCTA’s Tugon ng Masa series, is an independent and non-partisan poll regularly conducted to gauge public trust and the performance of government agencies. The PAF was among the most trusted and best-performing government institutions in the survey.

Trust in PAF was highest in Visayas and Mindanao, with both recording ratings of 80 percent. It was lowest in the National Capital Region where trust rating was at 68 percent.

Fieldwork for the study was carried out from December 3 to 11, 2025, using face-to-face interviews with 1,200 male and female respondents aged 18 and above. Respondents were drawn from Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The survey has a ±3 percent margin of error at the national level and ±6 percent for the subnational estimates at a 95 percent confidence level.

OCTA Research said that the survey results were released as a public service and were not commissioned by any organization or government agency.
