KUNAK: There is a need for the public, especially rural communities, to be exposed to factual information on various issues in order to safeguard their interests and be aware of their rights.
Lahad Datu MP Liaison Officer Mohd Indah Habib said the Government has provided various information platforms through its departments and agencies so they can obtain advice to make wise decisions.
As such, he commended the Kunak District Information Department’s initiative to conduct a briefing on current issues and on the Outreach People’s Information Centre.
