SEMPORNA: Sabah Parks on Tuesday issued a notice to temporarily close the Pulau Sibuan Substation, Tun Sakaran Marine Park, for security purpose following the discovery of a bomb-like object.

The object is believed to be remnant(s) of Second World War.

AdvertisementThe closure, starting Tuesday until the situation is completely safe, was announced via Sabah Parks’ Facebook site.

Sabah Parks also extended an apology for any inconvenience caused.

He said Sabah Parks has taken preliminary action by temporarily closing the areas and lodge a police report.
