Christian Pulisic was jeered by Chelsea fans during yesterday's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United.
Pulisic made a late cameo with two minutes of normal time to run and was booed when entering to replace Noni Madueke.
The USA captain has a year to run on his contract and is a confirmed target for Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis. Also keen are Roma, with a move to Italy emerging as a strong option.
Pulisic has endured an injury-plagued campaign, making just ten appearances this season. He scored one goal and contributed two assists.
The winger helped Chelsea win the Champions League final in 2021.
