Kota Kinabalu: Putatan Democratic Action Party Socialist Youth (Dapsy) Chief Kaven Lee Seng Vui said the recent statement of Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) top officer against the party was distorted and misleading.

He claimed SAPP Vice-President Gee Tien Siong’s facts were distorted and aimed to mislead the public apart from discrediting the Federal Unity Government on the issue of the special allocation of RM 320.25 million as announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Annuar Ibrahim on June 1.0

The special allocation was designed to Sabah address Sabah water woes.

Kaven, who is also Private Secretary to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, expressed his confusion and concern at Gee’s repeated baseless attacks which seemed to be targeted at Sabah DAP Members of Parliament and not at any other Sabah MPs who are also part of the Federal Unity Government.

Little did Gee know that he is barking at the wrong tree.

“Gee states that it is the duty of Sabah MPs to bring approved allocations back to Sabah and utilise them for the well-being of the people. I agree with this statement.

However, I find it utterly bizarre why Gee further went on to train his guns and shifting the responsibility of advocating for Sabah’s allocation solely onto the two Sabah DAP MPs from Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan as if they were the only two MPs in the Federal Government,” said Kaven.
