Spain coach Robert Moreno says Wolves winger Adama Traore is on the team's preliminary list.
Former Barcelona whiz Adama, who also qualifies for Mali, was called up to join La Roja for their upcoming games against Malta and Romania, but he had to withdraw due to an injury.
"We are looking for players who create imbalance," Moreno told the press. "That's Adama's main skill, above all others.
"Too bad he got injured. I talked to him, he wanted to play with Spain, but he said he couldn't come and he felt bad.
"He was in the last two preliminary lists.
"I know him well; it is not a surprise or a whim that he is with us."
