TAWAU: A Borneo Pygmy elephant entered a plantation worker’s house and helped itself to a drink before leaving the area at the Sg Tiagau Plantation, near Kalabakan, on Friday.
Tawau Wildlife Department Wildlife Officer Norfarhain Jefri said they were informed by a witness that the elephant had entered the house unnoticed while the occupants were hanging clothes outside.

The elephant exited the house on its own after having a drink.
“Our department had received a public complaint regarding this incident, and our staff were dispatched to the location to conduct monitoring along with the plantation workers on the day of the event,” said Norfarhain when contacted by Daily Express, Saturday.
