BELURAN: A one-metre-long reticulated python weighing about 950 grams was captured by the Beluran Civil Defence Force (APM) after it was found inside a wardrobe at a house in Kampung Kolapis Darat here yesterday morning.
The Beluran APM received a call from the public at about 8am before a team from its Bravo Squad was dispatched to the house, arriving at about 8.16am.
The snake was captured at 8.25am using appropriate equipment.
The operation ended safely without incident, with the team returning to the Beluran District Civil Defence Operations Centre (PKOD) at about 8.40am.
APM said it remained committed to responding swiftly to public complaints involving potential threats to residents’ safety.
