The clip, from Sunday (21 June), shows Qatari prime minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, walking past Vance without acknowledging him to greet Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif as Vance looks on.

Vance appears to try and prompt a conversation by saying, “Hey,” though the Qatari leader appears momentarily confused.

The incident sparked conversation online, saying the Qatari PM ‘snubbed’ the US vice president.
