QC to host ‘All aBOARD Expo 2026’

IN partnership with the Gaming Library, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte announced on Wednesday that the local government will again host the "All aBOARD Expo," which is expected to bring gamers, publishers, partners, and international guests.

Set from May 28 to 31, 2026, at the city’s M.I.C.E. Center inside the City Hall Complex, the region’s largest expo would have its registration open for six pass types, Belmonte said.

She said VIP (Very Important Person) passes would be priced from P1,000 to P5,500 with exciting perks, such as collectible items, exclusive freebies, and board games valued at up to P4,000.

Tickets for non-city residents would be P150, while "QCitizens" with a valid QC identification card or proof of residency, and children aged 12 and below may enter for free.

The expo's highlights include international personalities, exclusive board game content launches, and Asia Championship of Unmatched and Grand Archive Regionals, and major tournaments like Cascadia and Harmonies Catan.

The expo would also feature learning sessions, workshops and community activities as well as expanded partnerships, prize pools and publisher showcases, it said.

Over 200 exclusive board games would also be released, including local versions of international bestsellers.

Belmonte said that the launch was part of the city’s drive to promote culture, creativity and inclusive entertainment.

“Through partnerships such as this, Quezon City continues to be a hub of creativity and global culture. The All aBoard Expo proves that our city can bring together different communities and industries in celebration of learning and shared experiences,” she said.

City Administrator Michael Alimurung said All aBOARD has become more than a gaming convention but a tradition of togetherness.

“Residents and visitors alike are already excited for 2026 because they know it will bring new ways to learn, connect and celebrate community,” he said.

CEO Hans Kenner Fernandez of Gaming Library — the country’s premier board game retailer, publisher, and community hub — noted that last year’s event was a record-breaking feat.

“This year, we aim to break barriers. All aBoard Expo 2026 is much-awaited because it will bring in more international creators, bigger tournaments, and new gaming experiences that Southeast Asia has never seen before,” Fernandez said.

“It’s not just a convention, it’s the start of a tradition that gamers from all walks of life look forward to every year,” he pointed out.

All aBoard Expo 2026 is made possible through the support of the city’s tourism department, highlighting the local government’s commitment to cultural innovation, local tourism, and strengthening community ties, the top officials said. Arlie Calalo
