Kota Kinabalu: Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB) warned the public about a fraudulent website using the domain qhazanah.com that is illegally displaying its subsidiary logos and promoting fake investment schemes.
The Sabah state investment arm, in a statement, here, Sunday, confirmed the bogus site has no connection to the company, with its only legitimate website being qhazanahsabah.com.my.
The scam platform appears designed to steal personal and financial information from unsuspecting victims through unauthorised investment offers masquerading as official QSB ventures.
The QSB has reported the fraud to authorities and cybersecurity agencies, with investigations now underway.
The company said it will not be liable for any losses from dealings with the fake website.
The public is urged to exercise extreme caution and avoid engaging with the fraudulent platform. Anyone spotting suspicious activity should email communications@qhazanahsabah.com.my immediately.
The QSB said protecting its brand integrity and public trust remains a top priority as Sabah’s strategic investment vehicle.
