
SANDAKAN: Sabah police received 102 complaints through the community reporting system using quick response (QR) code since its launch on Sept 10 last year.
Among the reports recorded until Dec 31 were 17 related to online gambling, 20 to narcotics, three to fraud, five to traffic offences, 23 to public order, 29 categorised as other complaints, and one each on citizenship, smuggling, and misconduct.

It aims to improve response efficiency, speed up investigations, and provide an alternative channel alongside the existing Volunteers Smartphone Patrol (VSP).
