Qualcomm has announced a brand new product ahead of Computex 2026, and unlike their usual announcements this one is actually about a entry-level platform. Dubbed the Snapdragon C Platform, this is an entry-tier processor designed for laptops that target the USD300 or sub-RM1,500 mark.

That being said, we didn’t get much in terms of details from Qualcomm regarding Snapdragon C. What we do know is that this isn’t like the Oryon-powered Snapdragon X chips, but instead will come with custom Kryo CPU cores similar to their mobile platforms.

We also know it will come with an NPU but one not powerful enough to support Copilot+. Qualcomm is also boasting all-day battery life, something that entry-level Windows laptops have typically struggled to achieve.

“As costs rise and customer expectations evolve, Snapdragon C brings together value oriented computing, all-day battery life, AI capabilities and responsive performance in cool-quiet devices for expanded platform choice.
We’re delivering modern computing experiences that help our ecosystem reach new audiences and expanding access to reliable, efficient technology for students, families, customer-facing small businesses, and beyond,” – Kedar Kondap, SVP & GM of Compute and Gaming, Qualcomm

Qualcomm will be sharing more details about the Snapdragon C Platform at Computex soon enough, with their OEM partners such as Acer, HP and Lenovo set to launch new entry level laptops powered by Snapdragon C later this year.
