So the Samsung Galaxy S26 series smartphones have gone public for the first time in Malaysia alongside additional details and price info.
And as usual, Qualcomm has continued its partnership with Samsung to provide the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy “unique edition” that is available in the Galaxy S26 Ultra globally and selected markets’ Galaxy S26 / S26+.
While the base hardware is practically the same as a “standard edition” Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm custom-tuned specifically for Galaxy AI, so things like contextual suggestions and background actions run smoothly without draining efficiency.
Meanwhile, Qualcomm Smart Transmit dynamically manages uplink power across 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even satellite connections, helping deliver faster uploads and better coverage, while the FastConnect 7900 system brings Ultra Wideband support to the Galaxy S26 Ultra and S26+ for more responsive, everyday interactions.
