INANAM: The government will assure that issues pertaining to the quarry industry are looked into in accordance to existing laws and regulations.
Deputy Chief Minister III Datuk Ir. Shahelmey Yahya said the government through its various agencies issues would study such matters related to licensing and compliance, and others.
“Given the fact that the quarry industry is such an important player in infrastructure development, it should be part of the State’s Development Planning Committee.
