R&B singer Ne-Yo returns to KL this January

R&B singer Ne-Yo is returning to Kuala Lumpur as part of his Asia tour, this January, after a 12 years absence from Malaysia.

The award-winning singer and dancer last performed at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach in 2010, and this time will be showing off his moves at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) on January 21, 2023.

This upcoming show is part of the tour accompanying his ninth studio album, Self Explanatory, which was released back in July.

Rohit Rampal organiser and founder of Hitman Solutions, said: “We expect concert-goers will be among those who were born in the 1990s and 2000s during which Ne-Yo was at the height of his career.

“The concert is aimed at being a sentimental and emotional one where Ne-Yo will perform all of his popular songs and showcase his famous dance moves, sharing a special connection with the audience.”

The three-time Grammy winner found mainstream success in the early 2000s, writing the hit Let Me Love You, which was sung by Mario.

Ne-Yo’s other hits include So Sick, Because of You, Miss Independent and Closer.

Tickets went on sale from noon today, with tickets starting at RM288 for the Gold category. The four other ticket categories are Platinum (RM488), Diamond (RM688) and VIP (RM988).
