Sheffield Wednesday boss Steve Bruce has been confronted by a fan today during their friendly with Lincoln City.
Bruce is wanted by Newcastle United.
Wednesday were midway into their friendly at Sincil Bank when the fan made his way onto the pitch and proceeded to walk down the touchline.
Wearing a determined look, the man headed towards the direction of Bruce as stewards quickly made their way onto the pitch to apprehend him. A chorus of boos from the away end also began to ring out, with fellow fans disagreeing with his actions.
Supporters present at the game later confirmed the angry fan wanted to address Bruce regarding recent talk of a departure for Premier League side Newcastle.
