Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits that it will be tough for Romelu Lukaku to catch up to other players' fitness.
Lukaku has yet to feature for the Red Devils in preseason, as question marks about his future still linger.
Inter Milan want to sign the Belgian striker, but have yet to table a satisfactory bid.
"[Victor] Lindelof's fine and Lukaku won't be fit, no. He's been working with a physio last few days so he won't make this one either," the United manager said to reporters ahead of their friendly against Tottenham.
"Well he [Lukaku] got injured in training so he had to stay here, it's not too bad, if it was worse we'd have sent him home but he's been working with physios.
"Of course it's never nice to be a player who misses out on important fitness work and team understanding and tactical approach.
"So he'll just have to make up later on then."
