PETALING JAYA: Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli reportedly chuckled today when asked about a toothpaste parcel allegedly containing cannabis from an anonymous sender.

“I just think it’s a waste,” he joked at a press conference held in the Parliament building in Kuala Lumpur.

“Because I don’t take weed,” the Pandan MP was quoted as saying by Malay Mail.

Yesterday, it was reported that the police seized a parcel containing a tube of toothpaste which they suspected to contain cannabis extract.

The parcel was addressed to two politicians.

Rafizi confirmed the parcel was addressed to him and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The sender, with an address in Indonesia, had bought the item through an online platform.
