One of Korean entertainment’s most legendary global breakthrough acts, Rain, is set to bring his latest tour, the Still Raining Tour, to Malaysia next month with a live concert. Here is everything you need to know to secure your tickets.

At 42 years old, Jung Ji-hoon continues to set hearts ablaze, leaving fans swooning after him just as he did during his debut at the turn of the new millennium 25 years ago. Otherwise professionally known under the show moniker ‘Rain’, the Seosan native has pretty much seen and done it all as one of his country’s pioneering international superstars during a time when the K-Wave was still in its infancy with swept-down bangs and tank tops galore.

Now, he is set to make a grand return to the Malaysian stage as he brings his Still Raining Tour to Genting’s Arena of Stars, which is set to kick off on February 8th, 2025.

For one night only, this exclusive live show has been billed as a must-see for die-hard fans of the singer, who is expected to embark upon a retrospective of his greatest hits from across a total of seven studio albums. Additionally, the setlist is also expected to include his own covers of popular songs by other artists such as NewJeans and Bruno Mars, in a reflection of his musical versatility.

“This tour is my way of reconnecting with fans and reliving the cherished memories we have created together. It’s also a chance to create new ones as we explore this exciting chapter of my music,” said Rain in a statement.

A former boyband member who found worldwide success after striking it out on his own with the launch of his most successful studio album, It’s Raining in 2004, Rain continues to remain a notable mainstay in Korean entertainment for being one of its first names to break through the Western entertainment monopoly in the early 2000s.

Beyond music, he has also established himself as a capable leading man, having starred in a slew of K-Dramas that have earned him the title of a bona fide Hallyu star, in addition to several Hollywood projects such as Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin. His most recent output includes an EP that was released in 2021 dubbed Pieces by Rain, and a starring role in the TVN drama Ghost Doctor in 2022.
