Rewari was lashed by rain and hailstorm on Thursday, providing instant relief to the residents from the scorching heat.
The temperature came down with the downpour, bringing cheer to the residents, especially children.
A number of youngsters came out in the open as they got respite from the heat wave prevailing for several days.
The hailstorm also affected the vegetable and other crops in the agricultural fields. As per the officials concerned, the extent of damage caused to crops and property would be assessed.
