
Heavy rainf is expected to continue across Himachal Pradesh, with the State Meteorological Centre issuing a yellow weather alert for seven districts on Tuesday.
The alert covers Shimla, Kullu, Kangra, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kinnaur, and Lahaul and Spiti, where light to moderate rainfall is likely at isolated places throughout the day.
Despite the wet weather, minimum temperatures are expected to remain close to normal, with no significant change forecast.
According to the Meteorological Centre, the minimum temperatures recorded across the state were: Shimla (19.5°C), Dharamshala (19.8°C), Manali (20.6°C), Kangra (24°C), Bilaspur (23.5°C), Hamirpur (25.1°C), Una (23.4°C), Nahan (22.1°C), Mandi (23.6°C), Solan (22°C), Bhuntar (25.1°C), Sundernagar (22.9°C), Keylong (12.8°C), Kufri (16°C), and Paonta Sahib (28°C).
The state’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 8.4°C in Kukumseri village of Lahaul and Spiti district.
