Kota Kinabalu: Young talents will be taking centre stage at the Artivo Sabah 6th Young Artist Charity Art Exhibition 2025, where creativity meets compassion in support of local charities.
Set to run from Oct 2 to 5 at the rooftop of K-Avenue, Block B, Level 22, the exhibition carries the theme “My Future Ambition”.
Beyond showcasing children’s artworks, the event aims to raise funds for NGOs, orphanages, and child-related organisations across Sabah.
One of the main highlights will be the auction of paintings created by children, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to underprivileged children.
Visitors can also contribute through donations, or by supporting the art workshops and children’s market, both designed to channel funds directly to charity.
Adding to the festivities are two special activities – a Colouring Competition on Oct 4 and a Recycle Fashion Show on Oct 5, where children will model eco-friendly creations that reflect their dream professions.
The event is backed by Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd as CSR Main Sponsor, with the Lions Club of KK Centennial and Tinggi Tinggi Creative Hub as community partners.
Organisers said the exhibition is a way to inspire hope and encourage children to dream big while making a difference.
The public is invited to attend the free-entry exhibition, support the workshops and market, and be part of an event that blends art, sustainability, and charity.
