Kota Kinabalu: Ramadan Bazaar traders said they were compelled to raise prices due to the rising cost of essential ingredients.
Norsahira Ahyar, 25, who sells kebabs, said she had to increase the price by RM1 for each kebab meat selection such as chicken, meat and lamb.
“Previously, we sold chicken and meat kebabs for RM6, but now we’ve increased it to RM7.
For lamb kebabs, the original price was RM10, but now it’s RM11,” Norsahira told Daily Express.
