Human Resources Minister Ramanan discusses workforce development with Pakistan and Sri Lanka high commissioners.
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia and Pakistan will continue to explore opportunities for cooperation in strengthening workforce development, skills upgrading, and efforts to create a more sustainable employment ecosystem.
Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan said the matter was discussed when he received a courtesy call from the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Malaysia, Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, at his office in Putrajaya today.
He said that Malaysia and Pakistan share long-standing ties, and the evolving world of work requires both nations to continue exploring new, more progressive approaches.
“May the Malaysia-Pakistan relationship continue to flourish with a spirit of mutual respect and closer cooperation in the future,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Meanwhile, in a separate session, Ramanan also received a courtesy call from the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia, Dharshana M. Perera.
He said Malaysia and Sri Lanka are committed to further strengthening diplomatic relations and exploring potential cooperation in various fields that can bring added value to both countries.
“I am confident that the close relationship between Malaysia and Sri Lanka will continue to grow based on mutual understanding, respect, and the aspiration to achieve shared progress,” he also said.
