RANAU: A local man was found dead on Thursday, 10 days after he went missing while on a fishing trip in Sungai Gayo Nagas Ponulagon, Kg. Paus.
The 30-year-old man failed to return home and three days after his departure, his father managed to reach him and was told that he would be returning home in three more days.
AdvertisementHowever, the man did not return as promised and his family members filed a missing person report with the authorities on Feb. 10.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Chief Ridwan Mohd Taib said the victim was found by the public on a hilltop at 5pm, 15 kilometres from where he was reported missing.
