RANAU: A local man cheated death but was injured after he was accidentally shot with a bakakuk while hunting with his acquaintance near here recently.
Ranau District Police chief DSP Simiun Bin Lomudin said police arrested three other local men in connection with the shooting.
He said the victim, in his 30s, is currently in stable condition and being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu.
