RANAU: The road linking Ranau and Tambunan is facing the risk of being cut off due to landslides at several stretches.
A landslide near Kg Tungou, about 21.5km from Ranau town, is now posing danger to residential buildings, residents and road users, if no action is taken to repair the landslide.
“We expect the authorities to act immediately to repair the damage before something untoward happens,” said Kg Tungou JKKK Chairman Jumil Bin Rosli.
Jumil is also worried about the safety of some houses nearby that are facing the risk of landslides if no drastic action is taken.
