Rangers have accepted Aston Villa's £350,000 offer for Rory Wilson.

Rangers and Villa were at loggerheads over the transfer of the Scotland Under 17s hitman who bagged 49 goals at youth level for club and country this season.

The Scottish Sun says Wilson, 16, will sign for Villa on July 1 and had agreed terms, but there was a row between the two clubs over his fee, with the threat of a FIFA tribunal hanging over the deal.

However, Villa have managed to avoid any drawn out issues with their £350,000 proposal.

Wilson will become the first player from Rangers signed by former manager Steven Gerrard since his move to Aston Villa.
