Former Migos rapper Offset is hospitalised but stable after being shot near a Hollywood, Florida casino, police confirm an incident

MIAMI: Rapper Offset is in hospital after being shot near a casino in Florida.

A spokesperson for the 34-year-old musician told TMZ he was “stable” and being closely monitored at a hospital in Hollywood, Florida.

A Seminole Police Department spokesman confirmed a shooting in the vicinity but declined to identify the victim.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is best known as a member of the defunct Atlanta rap trio Migos.

The group soared to prominence with hits like “Bad and Boujee” and ceased performing in 2022 after bandmate Takeoff was fatally shot.

He was smiling and interacting with fans at the Florida casino moments before he was shot, TMZ reported.

Offset was married to rapper Cardi B and the couple, who split in 2024, have three children.
