Raul Albiol is delighted with his new deal at Villarreal.
The 37 year-old has signed a new deal to the end of the season.
Albiol said today: "I am very happy since I arrived at this great club. With everyone's treatment I have felt at home and I have given my best.
"I have felt good every season, although now I would not like to be injured to announce the renewal. I don't lack wins because what a player wants is to play. I appreciate the trust and I will give my best for the team. Depending on the performance we will see if we continue more or not. Hopefully I can be at the same level.
"When they signed me four years ago I was half injured, the confidence they placed in me made me not hesitate and I wanted to return that affection by performing at a high level. At this age you have to listen to your body, but I feel good I hope to return to my maximum level."
