Raul Garcia is happy to have signed a new one-year Athletic Bilbao deal.
The veteran stressed that "the decision to renew was clear from the start, but I needed to be with my family. As soon as the Club had the intention of renewing me, there was no problem".
The player thanked "the affection of my teammates and the people in the street. That people are aware of how you are and how you work is the main thing and what I have always wanted".
Raul said ahead of the 2023/24 season: "The objective must always be to give the maximum, which is what this team does. We have to focus on doing things at 100% and every day we play we have to be aware that it's important to win.
