Raya shopping for Tawau orphans

TAWAU: Wanita Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) collaborated with Kim Teck Cheong (KTC) Consolidated Berhad on Raya shopping programme for 50 orphans and underprivileged children (asnaf) here, Friday.

PGRS Women’s Chief Datuk Redonah Bahanda said 10 Servay supermarkets in the state would offer bajau raya to the children. The programme was launched in Tawau with 50 children aged between two and 12.

“Some 100 will do their shopping in Kota Marudu and Likas Servay supermarkets.”

Redonah thanked KTC for their generosity especially in difficult economic situation.

Nizam hoped more private and corporate companies would come forward to help orphans and asnaf.
