For Eid al-Fitr outing with the family, we visited the spectacular monument, Astaka Morocco in Putrajaya - the most enchanting spots, which is greenery surrounded by landscaped gardens and a scenic lake. It was built to signify diplomatic ties between Malaysia and Morocco. It gas a built-up area of 18,000 square feet which took 2 years to complete. It is divided into 3 grand courtyards. Gorgeous pools, and fountains lead to the majestic arches of 4 different galleries that resemble ancient imperial cities of Morocco: Marrakesh, Rabat, Fez, Essaouira & Meknes. For my 5 grandkids visiting this pavilion on Eid al-Fitr gained insight on the lifestyle and culture of the Moroccan people through the Gallery of Arts and History. They feel like stepping into a living artwork - a place where architecture, interior detail, and nature come together to create lasting impressions.

Returning home for Eid al-Fitr breakfast after Astaka Morocco educational morning walkabout at Astana Morocco, and engaging in conversations with my grandchildren, I revealed that "During my tenure with Malaysia Airlines, I've visited Casablanca, located in the central-western part of Morocco bordering the Atlantic Ocean. The largest city in Morocco, or Casa as locals call it, is the economic, cultural & business capital with a community of friendly people.

I understand the future of Malaysia-Morocco relations is set to deepen, focusing on enhanced economic cooperation, technology, and closer ties through the ASEAN platform. The partnership, which has grown consistently, is underpinned to leverage Morocco's position as a gateway to Africa & Malaysia's role as a growing hub in Southeast Asia. The via-free entry for Malaysians since 2017 has boosted tourism, and future efforts are focused on establishing direct flights between Casablanca and Kuala Lumpur to further enhance people-people connections on educational partnerships and digital technologies.
